Hiroki Ikeda, President and CEO Magna Wireless Corporation

    Hiroki Ikeda holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Osaka University Graduate School of Engineering. He conducted research and development on optical communications, LTE, and cloud technologies at Hitachi Central Research Laboratory, and led international collaborative research at Hitachi America and Hitachi China. As Executive Officer at Freebit Corporation, he launched Japan's first budget smartphone service. He served as Post-5G semiconductor development leader for METI/NEDO, advancing the development of domestically produced communication chips. He is currently President and CEO of Magna Wireless Corporation and Board Member of the Broadband Association of Japan.
